            William Koontz attended the University of San Francisco, receiving his B.A. in 1965 and ultimately graduating from the University of San Francisco School of Law, magna cum laude, with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree in 1974.  William has been practicing law since 1974, and is licensed to practice law not only in Oregon, but in Nevada as well.

      In addition to that, William is also a member of the Order of Coif and the Honors Moot Court.  He is licensed to practice law in all Courts in the states of Nevada and Oregon, the US Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Military Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court.

      William P. Koontz has extensive trial experience on both the state and federal court levels, and can assist you with both civil and criminal trials.  William is also the Senior Defense Counsel for the United States Army.
